BBC Crimewatch Roadshow : Arson Attack

The BBC’s Crimewatch Roadshow broadcast on Monday 13 June featured the arson attack which destroyed the home of Peter and Sylvia Cox in Castle Bytham on 4 May 2011.  The programme included a reconstruction of the devastating events of the evening as well as recorded and live interviews with Peter and Sylvia.

The programme revealed that the arsonist wore a horror mask during the attack and that there is a suspected link with other, less serious, attacks in another local village. Crimestoppers have offered a reward of £3000 to anyone offering information that results in the conviction of those responsible.

If you have any information that you think would assist Lincolnshire Police with their enquiries please contact them on 0300 111 0300 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

Peter Cox to appear on BBC Crimewatch Road Show

Ian Miller, acting editor of the Glenside News,  has informed us that Peter Cox will be interviewed live on the BBC’s Crimewatch Roadshow regarding the arson attack last month on his home in Castle Bytham.  The programme will be broadcast on BBC1 on Monday 13 June between 9.00am and 10.00am.  Hopefully the programme will jog a few memories, help the police in their investigations and allow Peter and his wife Sylvia’s life to return to normal.  Even if you can’t watch the programme at the broadcast time why not record it and watch it later – it might be your memory that is jogged.
