A village school transformed their playing field into No Man’s Land as part of a Remembrance Day project.

Pupils at Bythams Primary School, Little Bytham, came dressed for battle in uniforms and camouflaged clothing for a World War One Day, earlier this month.

Bythams Primary School logoInspired by British astronaut Tim Peake, youngsters have been exploring the great mystery of space this term.

Pupils in the Year 5/6 class at Bythams Primary School have had a homework topic linked to space, as they’ve been inspired by the story of the astronaut and his six-month journey on the International Space Station.

Bythams children get running to improve health and education

Earlier this month, pupils and staff of the Bythams Primary School started their daily running fitness club on a specially marked circuit in the school grounds with the aim of improving the health those in the school.

The extra 15 minutes of exercise a day is in addition to the 2 hours of PE the children cover every week.
