Five year fight to return Castle Bytham shop ends
Castle Bytham will soon have its own shop for the first time in more than five years.
A community-owned company that will run the venture has gained planning approval from South Kesteven District Council for a simpler and cheaper design for the building on land opposite 39 and 41 Station Road, by the site of a former quarry.

The Mercury article has a couple of errors; it has confused the approval of out planning application, granted last week, with the final contract for the land which has yet to be signed.. I would also mention that it is not a Parish Council project but is being carried out by a independent community group.
