South Kesteven District
Little Bytham and Castle Bytham both lie within the boundaries of South Kesteven District Council which in turn lies within the County of Lincolnshire. The district town of Grantham lies to the north of theBythams area alongside the A1 and most of the functions of the Council are administered from there.

South Kesteven Election Results 2011 (added : 06/05/11 : MG)
Elizabeth (Ibis) Channel, an Independent candidate, has been elected as the Hillsides Ward representative to South Kesteven District Council. Ibis received 568 votes in the local council election which took place on 5 May 2011. The other candidate for the seat, Martin Troloppe-Bellew, Conservative, gained 379 votes as per the Declaration of Poll Result published by the Returning Officer.
Martin Wilkins, Conservative, was elected as councillor for the Morkery Ward ‘without contest’ – being the only candidate.

On 23 March 2011 notice was given of an Election of Councillors to South Kesteven District Council to take place on Thursday 5 May 2011. Within theBythams area one councillor will be elected for the Morkery Ward and one for the Hillsides Ward. Nomination papers are available from The Returning Office (Council Offices, St Peters Hill, Grantham, NG31 6PZ), which must be returned by noon on Monday 4 April 2011.
